So we arrived in Bucharest, Romania late on the 9th. Andrea and Ryan, our hosts could not have been more gracious. In the first several days we got to taste Bucharest, literally and figuratively. Let me assure the reader; any dish that I don’t even take the time to photograph must’ve seduced me completely […]
What I came here for | Romania 2013
I wondered what coming back to Paris would be like. I wondered if I would be smitten like I was before, when Mom and Kate and I came, three french hens wandering the great wind of St. Germain’s alleys and shamelessly devouring the glut of this visual feast. The visual feast and more than a […]

This is a very simple design on the cheap for a large solar dehydrator. I’m finding more and more dehydrated foods that I really enjoy eating. Thought this would be a good video for future reference.
homemade briquette press
After seeing how much paper and cardboard gets thrown away at work on a daily basis, I couldn’t help but think that a homemade press could turn that waste into a heat source with minimal time/money invested. Here’s a guy that has a good start on making this semi-efficient:
GroTech Gutter System…
This is similar to what I was going to build but decided to move away from gutters and go with PVC. Good information on what to do if plants are turning yellowish
